The Capture Zone Analytic Element Model (CZAEM-DOS by Otto Strack and others) is a single layer model for simulating steady flow in homogeneous aquifers using the analytic element model. This Fortran code serves as a tool in the wellhead protection decision-making process by delineating capture zones and isochrones of residence times. The command line package includes analytic elements for wells, rivers, and recharge. The sophisticated capture zone maps are generated by determining all stagnation points and dividing streamlines in the regional flow domain.
