Welcome to UMassWiki! UMassWiki is an encyclopedia about UMass Amherst which anyone can edit. Here is some basic vital information.

How to edit

WARNING: Do not make wiki links with spaces [[ like this ]]. It may work some of the time, but it breaks subpages and namespaces. This is important, especially for users participating in classes on the wiki.

• Namespaces - MUST READ for wiki classes!
• Subpages - important for wiki classes!
• Common mistakes made by new users. If something isn't working the way you expect, look here.
• User pages - your own personal space where you can post what you like.
• Much more detail on how to edit a page, including markup details. You can experiment with editing pages in the sandbox.
