MODFLOW and More Conference
Dear colleague:
I am taking the liberty to remind you of the upcoming (May 2008) MODFLOW and More: Groundwater and Public Policy conference in Golden Colorado. This message is a follow up on my earlier mailing of November 1. If you already received other such reminders than I apologize for the duplication. As you will see below, there are only a few days left before the due date (December 3), but that is still enough time to get your 200 word abstract submitted on-line. Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the number one conference on groundwater modeling!
There are numerous sessions that are likely of interest to you, these may include:
-Latest developments and future directions in ground-water modeling -New techniques and ideas for linking MODFLOW with other models to solve complex problems -Utility of highly, moderately, and parsimoniously parameterized ground-water models -New analytic approaches and applications -Advances and applications of database management and graphical information systems (GIS)
This is just a brief sampling, there are many more topics of potential interest to you. Please consider submitting an abstract to the MODFLOW 2008 conference: http://www.mines.edu/igwmc/events/modflow2008/ May 19-21, 2008 - with an Ice-Breaker Evening of Sunday May 18 in Golden, Colorado USA
Abstracts are due by Dec 3, 2007 and selected papers are due by March 10, 2008. The submission page for abstracts is http://www.mines.edu/igwmc/events/modflow2008/abstract_form.shtml. Abstracts will be reviewed by the technical committee and selected authors of both oral and poster presentations will be published in the conference proceedings.
I look forward to seeing you there
