"Whoa, what is this?" Cloud stared in the publication.
"Cloud! Get your spiky bum into movement! That sub's about to abandon!"
Cloud cannot hear Barret. He was enwrapped by the book, it looked ancient, like from another world. It was unusual to find, as Enemy's normally morph into regular things, not some old book.
"CAAloud! That huge materia isn't going to stop itself! Hurry up!"
Cloud broke from the novel's enchantment. He appeared up at Cid's grizzled aged face.
We gotta go!"
Cloud was nevertheless a bit dazed when ha said, "Yeah... Tremendous Materia..." they ran on to seize the sub.

Some time after, it had been decided by Cloud and Barret to visit Marlene in Midgar. Cloud carried across the book he morphed from the mysterious ghost ship just like a diary, reading everyday, trying to find out its puzzle.
"Cloud," Red XIII asked, "wouldn't it be better if we landed near Kalm rather than flying directly into Midgar? Shinra will know that we are in the slums if we fly right outside."
"Your proper. Head for Kalm. We'll devote the night there and then walk into Midgar."
The degree 10 pilot gave him a "Righto!" and they blasted off towards the blue paved town.
"I will look around." Cloud stated when the celebration reached the inn, "maybe talk to some of the locals."
As Cloud monitored the centerpiece reactor, an aged man walked up and stared at Clouds cryptic novel. "Excuse me, but may I see that novel of yours child?"
"What, this oldtimer? Sure, I located it... uh..."
"Do not worry me about where you found it, equally as long as I could see it."
"Sure."
Cloud felt generous. He handed the book over as well as the guy searched it over.
"WHY, this it! The Tourist guide! BOY, I will give you a few rare materia for this here book!"
"Truly? Sure. I really don't mind dropping it. What materia?"
The man looked right into Cloud's eyes.
"Underwater materia. Powerful things." The guy reached out his hand and gave Cloud the purple orb.
Cloud stared in to its centre. It gave off a beautiful purple glow.

Cloud put the submerged materia within an open slot on his Ragnorak.
After thanking the old man he drifted into the bar and took a seat.
"What will ya have, son?" the bartender asked.
"The special."
"Come'in right upward. Tony, special!"
Cloud pulled out his materia and stared at it when two troopers walked to the pub.
"Joe, round of java and allow it to be quick!"
"Started using it. Tony, two cups of espresso and allow it to be fast!"
The troopers sat down at a table behind Cloud. Cloud strived to hide his wanted face, when they'd came in but he had been noticed by the soldiers.
"Here ya go son. 10 gil."
The meal didn't appear appetizing enough for that much cash, but Cloud given the bar tender the money so as not to make a scene. He started in on what seemed edible when the troopers came up to the pub and sat on either side of him.
"Joe, what's taking so long with that coffee, huh? this support is pretty awful do maybe not ya believe?" he said, eyeing Cloud.
"Hmm... maybe not that bad..." Cloud strived to disguise his voice in vain.
"Hey, have I seen you before son? Ever been down near Midgar?" the soldier on his right inquired.
"Hmm... perhaps once."
"Here's your coffee. If you liked this posting and you would like to receive a lot more details about hospitals for souls bring me the horizon kindly check out the page. " The bartender said setting mugs in the troopers faces.
Cloud pulled out his sword and dropped it length wise on the bar, spilling over the soldiers' coffee saying, "Ooh, examine the time, must be going."
He ran for the door when a bullet ran strait through his hair.
"Wait a minute, your debt us a round of coffee, Cloud."
Cloud ran outdoors and the soldiers followed. They troopers trained, shot and hit a wall, then Cloud arrived in double-cuttin' both of them, but dropped his underwater materia. A man who had seen the whole unit ran up and grabbed it and looked over it.
Cloud walked over and inquired, "Can I have that back?
"Why certain you can have it straight back," the guy handed it outside, "'lessons, do you know how it works?"
"Ummm... I assume I will need to figure it out, will perhaps not I?" Cloud snatched it in the stranger's hand and turned away.
"You might never determine it out. You actually see any of the "Arms" Creatures?"
"Weapon? It will help against Weapons? Which one?" The man gave Cloud a sly seem.
"Just the most hazardous creature below the ocean. Ever hear the name, 'Emerald Weapon?"
